We offer administration services, marketing and expanding referral base, which includes connections with the Defence community and local medical practices.

Ongoing mentoring will be provided to help you develop not only your clinical knowledge, but broaden your business and marketing skills to grow your practice.

The Right Fit For PDK Psychology

Our practitioners are passionate and dedicated in their niche areas and seek to work in collaboration with other practitioners to develop and deepen their expertise as well as a desire to build their own individual practices within the environment of a supportive and experienced team. You will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in the relevant area of practice and current full registration with the appropriate professional body.
  • Registration as a Psychologist (or other allied health professional) with Medicare
  • Liaise with GPs and other Health Professionals to meet the need of your clients
  • Experience providing focused, evidence based psychological interventions.
  • Ability to work with a variety of client presentations, ages and backgrounds
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • ABN (or eligibility to obtain an ABN), professional indemnity & public liability insurance.

Desirable

  • Accredited Supervisors
  • Experience with design and delivery of group programs.
  • Clinical Hypnosis and EMDR practitioners
  • Knowledge of community based mental health care services
  • Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals working from an individual business practitioner model.
