Our Introduction to Dental Assisting Training programme is a one week induction training programme designed to give participants an initial understanding of the dental industry, the role and responsibilities of a dental assistant and an understanding of basic dental nursing skills. Further training and career opportunities are discussed and recommended to give students an idea of a career plan within the industry and encourage students to further develop and grow their skills and knowledge i.e. Certificate III in Dental Assisting.

Course Overview
This course teaches students the core principles of attributes, skills and knowledge that is essential and required long term to become a Dental Assistant of the highest qualities and one that will be highly regarded and sought after within the dental profession. This programme places a strong focus on providing a high level of patient care and how to interact with patients, which is a very important aspect to being a Dental Assistant. We provide you with background information on anatomy and physiology of the body as well as the mouth/teeth, which will give you an awareness of your own body and general health and well being of your teeth.
